Slime Rancher is a cute open world game where you try to make money off of poo of the slimes you kidnap. You grow your own food, capture slimes, play with the market and upgrade your ranch.
Seems easy? Well for the first try it could get confusing. I had a ranch where I just placed all types of slimes together in one corral and basically everything went to shit. However there is a Slime-pedia built in the game it does a good job explaining what type of food the slimes like eating to get double your plorts.
There's a lot of running back and forth in this game, you discover different types of slimes and you
use different tactics on each. There's also a day and night cycle where as other types of slimes only appear at night. Also these cute fuckers tend to try and escape. You have to build upgrades on your ranch to try calm them.
Its a free world. No main story here, you get to choose what to do or if you decide to partake on side quests mind you there aren't a lot but they do refresh every day. You can also play with the slime market deciding on when to sell your plorts.
